Put a finger anywhere on the screen and drag, or use W A S D or the arrow keys. Drag down (S) lifts the nose, drag up (W) lowers it, left and right tilt the wings to turn. Small moves: the aircraft answers slowly.
The wheels start up. Swipe the gear lever on the right of the panel all the way down, or press G. It takes four seconds, so do it early: landing without wheels is a crash.
Four lights beside the runway. Two white, two red: on the glide path. More white: too high. More red: too low.
Put it down on the bars, 300 m past the threshold. Soft, straight and on the centreline, with the speed near the yellow mark.
Just before the wheels touch, drag down a little so the nose comes up. Pilots call this the flare: it slows the sinking. Nose too low and you hit the runway hard and crash; too high and you float on past the bars.
Flocks cross the approach. Fly through one and the engines are gone. Climb, dive or turn away.
Every landing pays coins. Spend them in the hangar on new aircraft and paint. A dearer type is harder and pays more, and a perfect landing earns it a legendary livery.
The island first. Landings open the rest: Alpine at 3, the Maldives at 5 (in a seaplane), Kai Tak at 7, the carrier at 12, Lukla at 30 and Mars at 50.
Every approach earns experience, a landing the most. Climb from Cadet to Legend: every grade pays coins and adds a gold bar to the badge beside your name, every rank brings finer wings and a new ornament in the cockpit.
A wooden chest when you start, then iron, gold, crystal and legendary ones at 10, 20, 30 and 45 minutes of play, each fuller than the last.
Switch it on in the settings and a see-through aircraft flies your best landing on the map beside you, or the top pilot's.
Fly one approach a day. Every day in a row pays more, up to 1,000 coins, and day seven brings a legendary mystery prize. Miss a day and it starts again.
One approach for everyone, new every day. The five best of the day win coins.
The challenge map, open to every pilot, flown in a lent UFO. Five approaches a day, up to five more for coins (or a short video), and the three best of the round win big.
One free spin every 24 hours: coins, an aircraft of your choice, one of your locked maps or a flight chest.
No account, no sign up, no password. The game never asks for your name, your email or anything else about you.
On this device it keeps your settings, your own attempt and landing counters, and a random 20 character code that stands for your hangar.
On our server (canyouland.com) it keeps, under that random code: your coins, the aircraft you own and the one you fly, and every landing you report, with its measurements, the weather, the map and the aircraft. If you put a name on the leaderboard, that name is stored with the run. The server keeps a one way hash of your IP address to stop flooding, never the address itself. It also adds up, per day, how long visits last and how many approaches are flown, as totals without any code or address, to see whether changes make the game better.
Nothing is sold and nothing is shared, and the game itself does no tracking. The platform you play on may show its own ads between flights, under its own privacy policy. Delete the browser data of this game and the code is gone, and with it the way back to that hangar.
The platform you are playing on has its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to your visit here.
